Regulatory Compliance
What the label on your drive points to.
The small label on the TiltForge Tilt Rod Drive links here. This page carries the full FCC statement that doesn't fit on it, plus a straight answer on where Matter certification stands.
FCC Part 15
Emissions testing of the assembled drive is in progress. The full Supplier's Declaration of Conformity will be published here before the first production unit ships.
What's true today: the drive's Wi-Fi radio is a pre-certified module, FCC ID: Z4T-XIAOESP32C6. The module's certification covers the radio. The finished drive still gets its own Class B emissions test, and that result is what this page will carry.
Which products this covers
| Model | Product | Radio |
|---|---|---|
| TF-D-ASM-01 | Assembled drive | XIAO ESP32-C6, installed |
| TF-D-KIT-01 | Pre-flashed kit | XIAO ESP32-C6, in the box |
| TF-D-KIT-02 | Kit, no module | None |
| TF-D-KIT-03 | Mechanical kit | None |
No power adapter ships with any TiltForge product. Use any USB power supply that carries its own certification.
Matter certification
TiltForge speaks Matter over Wi-Fi, locally, but it is not CSA-certified yet. That changes what pairs directly today:
- +Home Assistant pairs it normally.
- +Apple Home pairs it after an “uncertified accessory” notice with an Add Anyway button.
- +Google Home, Amazon Alexa and SmartThings won't pair an uncertified device. Today they reach TiltForge through Home Assistant.
Direct pairing with those platforms comes with certification. Setup details are in the Home Assistant guide.
